The title and cover fit the story wonderfully and I really enjoyed sharing this story with my 6 year old little girl. It’s a lovely, uplifting story that would be perfect to share with your little one of they had had a bad day at nursery or their first year or two at primary school. The beautiful pictures of the animals and different outdoor scenes are just lovely, and fit the story very well.
I think this lovely little story could really boost a little one after a rough day, teaching them that things might not always go to plan but you shouldn’t give up and should always be true to and believe in yourself.
It’s probably aimed more at ages 3-5 but I’m sure my daughter will be happy to listen to this one again and ask for another of the same length afterwards.
