I thought this was a really lovely book with fantastic messages for young children, alongside beautiful illustrations. Thanks very much to Reader's First for sending me an advanced copy of this book to read and review.
I loved the positive messages within the story, but even more I liked the fact that it said there were times that things won't go your way, or you won't know exactly what to do, but that is ok too. I think that is an important message for children to learn and this book does it in a really gentle but effective way. I wish it had been around when my children were younger, but even now they are older I think they would enjoy having a read of this.....although they might not admit it!
The illustrations work brilliantly alongside the story, and the text is perfect for reading aloud.
