This is the perfect bed-time read for children who love animals. I know for a fact I would have loved this book when I was a child. It shows children great morals. The art is super cute. it the prefect art for children. no to complex but not too simple and is just adorable. This book also has a main character of color, so a plus for representation. This is one of those books that you can preform for your children. i would also recommend this book to librarians. I feel like this book would help get a lot of children into reading. it is also a great addition to a childs bedroom. I know when i was little i liked to reread book at least a few times before it began to get old. even then i would be a great gift for a parent who needs a kid to start reading more. I know most kids would be disappointed to get a few books for their birthday but i think they would enjoy this one.
