A fun way to learn.

Here is a book that shows us how learning about some very ordinary things can be great fun. This is a very colourful book with a lot going on inside it. Through reading the text and looking at the illustrations , children can learn many things that they probably would not have learned anywhere else. In fact, although I am well out of my childhood, I even learned a lot of information that I did not know before. For example, I have always enjoyed working with bubble wrap , and popping it afterwards, but I would never have guessed how it was invented. Like many of the products featured in the book, bubble wrap was made for a completely different use from what it is now used for.
I like the way the book has been written ,with a cartoon style story on one page and then some additional information on the facing page. Some of the stories made me laugh as well as teaching me something especially the subjects that include some toilet humour.
