Mike Barfield provides the text in a fun and interesting way, and Franziska Hollbacher creates the quirky images to illustrate them in a bright, comic book style.
From information on everything from the invention of drones and denim to smartphones and skyscrapers, there is something new to learn on every page. There is a surprisingly large amount of topics covered and all relevant to today's modern world.
The A4 size, quality of the paper, and colourful imagery really enhance each topic, making it a must-have for anyone who loves fun facts and reading in snippets. Great to encourage reluctant readers who may be put off by longer stories. Five stars from me!
