Entertaining look at a world of inventions
This is a great book aimed at children and would be an ideal way to teach them, in a fun and interactive way, about various inventions. It covers both past and present inventions from around the world and also provides information about some of the inventors.
There is an amazing breadth of subjects covered, so hopefully there would be something of interest for everyone within the pages. It is broken up into small sections, so is easy to digest and not too difficult for children to read and absorb the information. It would be a fun book to use interactively, especially the section at the end where it encourages children to create their own invention.
I particularly enjoyed the fantastic illustrations and comic strips, which again will appeal to the younger reader. Although the book is aimed at children, I certainly learnt some new information and I think someone of any age would enjoy dipping into this book.
