The world's first roller-coaster was a book FULL of curious and interesting facts from across the world on all sorts of topics and read like a who's who of inventors, some well known and many I'd never even heard of but all who left a fantastic contribution to society.
So so many topics and items covered it's hard to pick just one or two, I thoroughly enjoyed the technology and transport side of things like video games, computers, mobile phones and tablets etc.
But it had fascinating history and architecture sections and even stuff like toys, games, household items.
I'm just totally surprised that even with wonderful illustrations on every page they managed to capture so many snippets of information and pack it all into a book of around 90 pages!
A brilliant read for random trivia and knowledge.
Definitely a good read for any age group.
