With not watching Blue Peter, anymore, I don’t know who this Blue Peter person is, but I love how Blue Peter Award-winner Mike Barfield has written this from an educational point of view, with the range of inventions and innovations.
I love the fact that this Blue Peter presenter has turned into a writer sharing educational knowledge with young children.
Children are often very keen to learn about inventions, so I’m sure they are all going to enjoy this book.
I think it’s a great idea for children to find out how bubblewrap to the barcode, from pizza to post-its, from trainers to the teddy bear have been made.
This is a brilliant idea to get the message across to children, how certain things have been invented that has been told in comic-strip format, with a fabulous colourful cast of characters that show how all things that have been invented, that have helped us all today.
I absolutely love the front cover, it’s definitely is very eye catching for young children.
