Firstly, I'd like to say that I absolutely love the artwork in this book! Every page is full of so much detail and colour, it is eye catching and makes the information written even more exciting to learn about. I'm a 43 year old woman and there is so much I thought I knew that I clearly had no idea about.
Although this book is aimed at young children, there is so much in here that anyone, even old adults like myself, can learn. Who knew that the tallest building was in Dubai and is the height of three Eiffel Towers stacked up on top of each other?!
This is a brilliant book, perfect for those venturing into the big wide world and wanting to know more about the world we live in and why things have come about and been invented. Thank god technology has advanced over the years, not sure I'd like to have sampled the very first roller coaster in Russia! Jeez!
