I can honestly say that this is the most engaging information book I have read in a very long time. Although it is written in bite sized chapters, I did not want to put it down and finished all 93 pages in one sitting.
The cartoon illustrations are absolutely delightful with humorous captions that children will love. The pages are packed with really informative text and, even as an adult, I learnt some great 'did you know' new facts that I am enjoying sharing with others.
The book is jam packed with topics that have been carefully and thoughtfully chosen which are bound to appeal to children.
A huge amount of thought has been put into the design of this book; not least into the cover itself which is embossed and colourful. Without a doubt this book will stand out on the shelf and should definitely be stocked in all primary school classrooms.
