What a lovely book for kids, mine would love to read this. Funny, fun and a great way to learn about innovation and technology using the power of story telling to inspire little minds. Who knew that some of these inventions were because they were invented from a different purpose. So many fun facts and it is illustrated lovely. Written by Blue Peter award winner and packed full of facts this is a great little read. A great first look that has captivated me even as an adult which has definitely left me wanting to read more. Worth a read especially if you have children. Loved the cover too, colourful and descriptive it makes you want to pick this book up to read it.
I would definitely buy this book for a young person or my children as it allows them to learn as well as each fact/story being short enough to dip in and out of. Lovely read and a great gift.
