I have read quite a few historical fiction books from the war but never set in Ireland. In fact this is the first time I have heard of the Belfast Blitz. The writing style had me hooked from the first page and I wanted to keep reading and find out what would happen next. The main characters are all multi-faceted women and I am intrigued to hear the rest of their stories and to find out what else is in store for them.
