I'm not normally a fan of war books though I quite enjoyed this one. The language and way of writing was a little confusing at first, very fitting for the time period it was set in, I quickly got used to it and only had to re-read the odd sentence. Wouldn't be my favourite book but i think I would enjoy reading it.
