I love historical fiction but have never read anything written from an Irish perspective about their experiences of living through The Blitz. I would very much like to read this novel to see how it compares with my English family's experiences. I imagine you Irish were stoic and made the best of things as they have always had to do throughout history. This books feels like it would be a fascinating winter read.
