From the opening lines of this book I knew I would enjoy this.
The story starts with a bombing raid on Belfast. I didn't know until I read the sneak peek of this book that there had been a Belfast Blitz during the second World War.
This is beautifully written and easy to read. It is descriptive without being boring and as a reader you really get to feel and understand the emotions the main characters are going through.
I would definitely read this book.
