I have never read anything about WWII or the blitz in Northern Ireland so this book intrigues me. I like novels that, in addition to entertaining me, teach about a topic on which I was previously uneducated. For that reason alone I would like to read "These Days." But that aside, on first reading it strikes as well written and enjoyable.
