This story revolves around a family in Belfast during the world war two also known as the Belfast blits. I really enjoy how much the author has stayed with the SHC (social historical context) and it really makes the story more enjoyable and submersible also it the author was able to show the emotions and actions these people would have faced in this time. The cover also seems so fitting and the story plot is immaculate. As someone who really enjoys books based in the past the small part of this story has made me look forward to reading the rest of the book and find out what happens next and this book is one of those books that will draw you in and never let go. its one the type that will make you believe you are living through this story with the characters and the setting is an amazing choice. The only thing that's a bit of a put of the the small bits of Belfast dialect but apart from that it's amazing.
