Overall I think this book was quite good, usually historical books are not my genre I usually don’t enjoy them. But this book took a very interesting turn and twist on historical event that was very unique. I enjoyed reading the twists and turns in this book and although I wouldn’t say this my favourite book I would say I actually thoroughly enjoyed it which is great considering prior to this book I didn’t enjoy or like any historical book. So I would say that’s a win.
The characters were easily likeable down to earth although some scenes were strange and inappropriate which put me on edge as a reader but I think it was meant to. Overall enjoyed the progression and especially what it was stating without explicitly mentioning it. From there you can love anyone regardless of the time or historical period, that hypersexuality and women it’s fine and understanding ourselves is key.
