This novel shows the importance of faith and belief. Bilal is shocked when his mother on her deathbed tells him her final wish: ‘Build a mosque’. While on his journey to build a mosque (hopefully), he deals with problems in his work place. I am curious to see how his relationships with other characters will be affected while he his continuing on his journey to a deeper understanding of himself and others.
Although this novel follows an intriguing theme, I was not very captivated. The idea of this novel is amazing, but there’s not many interesting events going on.
