'This green and pleasant land' was a book I was undecided about initially, based on first impressions; this book was an easy read and I would happily keep on reading, I did not want to put it down.
This book is well written, it definitely makes you think, which I'm sure many people can relate to some of the characters in the book, no matter what their faith is. It'll make you smile.... :-) (I loved Khala Rukhsana in the book, made me smile often, And Khala shows its never too late to learn new things, and had a lovely relationship with Haaris). It can also be sad.
I've not read any books by this author before, would definitely read more, praise for Ayisha Malik.
