I had a complete change of opinion on this book!

I'm so glad I gave this book another chance!! Although I stand by my initial review in terms of he first few chapters, once you get past the initial slow, ploddy storyline, this story is beautiful! I found that I finished it in less than 24 hours! I just couldn't put it down!! I would definitely recommend this book, just with the warning of push past the initial slowness!!

I only got 100 pages into this book before I gave up, and I NEVER give up on a book! I just found that is just seemed to plod along and I understand the ground is probably being laid for the remainder of the book but I'm a quarter of the way in and all that has happened is his mum died and that was within the first 5 pages... i just feel like nothing happened to make me want to read it. The synopsis sounded so brilliant but I'm just really disappointed it didn't pay off. I will probably try to read this again at some point because other people have such good reviews of it.
