Such a beautiful and well-written book. A lot of the story can be related to and consists of a good amount of light comedy. I really enjoyed reading Ayisha Malik's style of writing and feel this would be a really nice insight for people to read, and to explore the culture of non-ethnic minorities. As a Pakistani myself, I agree that the characters do justice in representing the common problems and situations that individuals of our communities have to face and deal with, specifically for Pakistanis and Muslims who live in the UK.
I loved how the author delved into issues of racism and Islamophobia, and the true meaning of what constitutes a person's identity. Lastly, the cover of the book is also beautiful and serene!
