I am afraid this one is just not for me, I am not a religious person and I do not really enjoy reading books about things that I do not understand.

This might be very small minded of me but I do not want to waste my time - which could be spent reading a very thrilling murder-mystery - reading a religious book, which to be honest might be very very good in its own way.

I wanted to give the book five chapters before i called it quits - however, i did not manage to get past page 37 as it all got a bit much for me when the main character Bilal lay down in the grave his mother dug for herself (not that she was then buried in it, she dug it so she could lie down it in every night???) Who does that? This was the cherry on the cake for me and I will not be returning to this book.

I understand this might have been on religious grounds and I am not of that religion so maybe I didn't grasp the concept but even so, that is WEIRD.

Onto the donation pile it goes!
