The only thing I can say about this book is that it was OK, although not really my kind. I think the writing style was too heavy and the author was too involved, at no point we could see the character`s own perspective which was not identical to the one of the author. The characters were too stereotypical and rushed, the "not understanding" community did exactly what was expected of them - oppose while the main character did nothing to surprise us and fought for his point of view.
I never liked religious literature, but I think this was a bit too rushed, there was only black or white, no mutual understanding between characters and the reader was forced to take either one side or the other.
