I read the full book and made sure to before I wrote my review. This decision came from reading the first few chapters deciding it was preachy then reading on and it seemed to settle. but nope it picked back up to being preachy again.
I found the book quite rudely worded especially when dealing with typical British views towards alternative faiths that Christianity. not all white people are to react the same yet this book manages to hone in on a minor group of people who do. I understand the workings here and I completely get the reasoning, or the stimuli, of the book. However I just thought it was preachy.
the writing itself is vivid and does really assist the reader in imagining the location etc but I think it is a bit rudely worded.
