The family moved from Pakistan to live in Birmingham. The son grows up and moves the family to a little seaside town. He is a successful accountant and member of the local council. His mother's dying wish is for him to build a Mosque in the town to renew his religious feelings, this is what he has to sort out..... It is a simple style which is easy to follow and makes you want to know more - does he succeed? It introduces us to the expectations of another society which is not typically British. The responsibilities of the family are not what would be expected here. It will be very interesting to see the outcome of this 'wish' and if it is excepted by the locals, who already have two churches.
