Took longer than usual to get through.
A very lighthearted read that had a lot of themes based on community, acceptance of cultures and friendships. When I received this book I was very excited to get stuck into it after reading the first look. However as I got further into the book, as I prefer shorter chapters I found myself loosing interest and having to make myself sit and read it rather than enjoying it and not putting it down!
It got a little but better towards the end of the book. There were many characters in the book that had their own backstories so at times it got a little confusing.
Overall, if I read this genre of book more often I may have enjoyed it more, however as I prefer historical and thriller books this wasn't for me.
