This book was really wonderful to read. The book was entertaining, thought provoking and really educational. The book explores what it means to be British and it challenges the readers assumptions about how welcoming and integrated our society is. The book also provides insight into love, and loss and the subtle ways in which they can influence our behaviour. I really loved reading about the vast range of characters from the visiting aunties, the loving relationship between Haaris and his great aunt, and many more. I really liked that the book ended in a positive way and came to a good conclusion. The pace of the book was great and I could relate to a few things in the book. The cover of the book is really stunning and I like the illustration on the cover.
