I like that it is a story based around Desi culture in Britain with 6th-formers age group, reading it makes me feel young again although I’m only mid 30s with 2 small children. It is so innocent and surprise climax so early was very effective I think. I also like the writing style reflecting that they are communicating via text. I can’t wait to read the rest of this book!
