Just from the small excerpt we got to read, I can tell that the author has spent a lot of time with the characters.
Being that they're aged in sixth form, I'm guessing it's going to be a pretty clean, wholesome fake-dating romance. Sure it's likely that it's going to be a little trope-y, but if it's done well, I think it could be a really uplifting read.
The inclusion of the text conversations are slightly frustrating (I find they can take me out of the story sometimes), but I think it's to be expected given the books target audience.
