I don’t know why but I just couldn’t get into this book. Perhaps it is a personal thing, and I’m going through a reading slump, but this book just never engaged me much and I found myself giving up sadly which is not something I like to do but unfortunately happens a bit more now that I’m older.
I really do like that cover, and the writing itself was good —I think it was more that the plot just wasn’t interesting enough for me. I only got about a quarter of the way through the book before giving up so cannot comment too much on the book itself, or obviously the entirety of the book -but I will say this author shows a lot of premise, and I would definitely give their next book a go
