This book was completely adorable.
I loved that this wasn't your typical fake dating novel. Usually, they turn from friends to lovers, and it was wonderful to see that sometimes people who are just friends aren't the perfect couple. Both Zara and Adnan had their own love interests throughout, and it was fun to see them work out what they want.
I also loved that Zara was pretty nerdy. She loved Pokemon Go, and we had references to Discord which was pretty fun.
That said, there were definitely some points in this book where I felt a little meh. Zara was dealing with some pretty bad friends in places and yet there wasn't much of an apology apart from when she apologises too. Still, it was nice that the characters grew and to see teenagers that really aren't perfect. As, let's face it, most teenagers are a mess.
