I love the concept behind this story, but to be completely honest I do feel like this storyline has been used in quite a few books before so the outcome was slightly predictable and expected.
The character portrayal was very well written and I love to see how much of a romantic Zara, the main protagonist is.
I would definitely consider this a 'navigate your way through life' and 'second hand embarassment' feeling kind of book. When I was a teenager, it would be something I would instantly be drawn to and have to read in one sitting.
The storyline between Zara and her best friend is very funny and cute and full of youthful ideas... Everybody I am sure has experienced falling for somebody that you just did not want to and tried to convince yourself to stop fancying.
I found the storyline very comedic yet very relatable and younger me would read all!
