The minute I saw the cover of this book I immediately clicked and as soon as I read the synopsis I knew I just a had to read this one and boy am I happy that I did because this is probably one of my favourite books so far this year. It was just such a joy to read and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a fun rom com.
This is the story of Zara who loves love. From 90s romcoms, romance novels to grand sweeping gestures so when her friend Adnan asks her to pretend date him she just isn't sure if she should. But there is something in it for Zara as well. Her parents love Adnan and she thinks it might make them stop arguing for a while if she pretends to date him.
She agrees to help him out and believes that it won't be much different pretend dating him than just being friends. Of course she is wrong! There is quite a bit that is different! How could life get anymore confusing!?
Such a fun story definitely one to give a go!
