I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this book or not but I was pleasantly surprised as I found it really good.
The main character Rora returns to Hastings, her childhood home, after having left 12 years earlier.
She has a daughter Ursula who is a very bright and sweet girl.
Rora has a strained relationship with her father who is ill, which is why she has returned and the story explores and reveals why their relationship became like that.
She meets a man who she is very attracted to but also finds that her ex-boyfriend, who she considers the love of her life, is also living in Hastings.
The book is beautifully written and I found all the main characters very likeable and very believable. The story definitely has a feelgood factor as well as plenty of romance.
There are a few secrets from the past which are revealed throughout the course of the book which really add to the story.
Overall this is a lovely book and would be an ideal holiday read.
