The book starts by her packing her room up and with doing so, she comes across the last book that she has pack. There is then a detailed description of the moral of the book. The story being based around another story at the start gives the book a better sense of reality and makes it feel less fairy tale.
In this story, Rora falls for Carl. From first sight she was intrigued and they met in a sort of shy teenage way. Her best friend, Hannah, was also present.
Overall, I think that their love story is not 'average'. Everyone experiences love differently but Rora seems to be able to connect with the readers as she's a teenage girl when she first lays eyes on Carl and it's a very flirty and typical situation. This being said, I feel like a lot of younger readers would like this off the bat as it is either a story they wish they could have or something which links loosely to their own experiences.
