To put it simply this book is about self discovery and the craving one has to know who they are and where they come from. This book is tender and sweet and totally threw me off my game. Originally, I thought that this book was going to be set in the present day with the whole idea of technology taking over and disconnecting us from who we are and the character was going to try and remove the heavy technology aspect of their lives to discover their background and who they are.
However, I pleasantly surprised that this was not the case at all. The story is about trials and tribulations that people can face when they either don't know where they are from or they are are unsure of who they are, which in a way is one in the same.
The book captured my attention to the fullest, I enjoyed how the story unravelled and how it kept me wanting more after learning and fully understanding each new piece of information. I only had one issue/problem, which was that once a new character was brought in to the fold I had to keep going back the family tree to see how they were connected and for me to grasp the complete picture in my head.
