I read the first impression and was not at all interested by this book. The main character seems pushy and not really likeable, the old man grumpy (and not someone to inspire offers of help) and then his relative arrives, who just happens to be the same age as Lara, handsome and speaks good English... it's all too romantic for me with nothing to catch my interest.
