This tale starts off quite gently and sets the scene well. Even in the short extract given here you can see that there are several layers to peel back to get to the history of Samuel, Matteo, Lara and Sunny.

I'm not sure where the tale is going or if the writing is strong enough to make me want to discover all the myriad layers. It is competent enough but nothing particularly special or stand out.
