The cover looks pleasant but doesn’t give me the impression of the style of book I generally read however once I had got a few pages in I realised this is deceptive as the book is engaging in its own slow burning way. You can almost feel the heat and atmosphere of Italy in the story and the sense of mystery (and maybe romance?) to be found in Florence. I think this would be a great read for a hot n humid day when all you want to do is curl up in an absorbing book
