I love the front cover, it depicts a family meal in a lovely sunny Italian landscape ( obviously including cheese!).
Lara arrives on holiday in Rome and encounters an elderly Italian man (Samuel ) at the Trevi fountain, this starts a chain of events including returning home with him to Chianti and meeting Matteo (Samuel is his great uncle). Other main characters in the story are Dave who is very manipulative, Lara's sister Sunny and twins Daisy and Hudson and Laras mum Eliza. Matteo introduces Lara to a new world of cheese making and Lara finds herself falling in love with Matteo, but will her illness put him off? Dave is a really obnoxious character, how will he take to Lara's relationship with Matteo. As the book progresses you find out if it all ends up well or will love not survive the miles between Italy and Australia? Will the family issues sort themselves out? and will Dave get his comeuppance or will he still persue her over the years? A lovely summertime story full of romance and food, and all set in glorious locations. Will the saying come true for Lara - throw three gold coins in the Trevi fountain, one to return to Rome, one to find love and one for marriage. You must read this to find out you won't be disappointed .
