This is an absolutely gorgeous summer read. From the moment I saw the cover of this book I knew it would be the perfect summer read and I wasn't wrong. The book gets into action pretty quickly as we explore Italy and we learn a lot about the characters of Lara, Sunny and her twins, Matteo and of course Samuel. Each of their perspectives is different, unique and shows their personalities in the writing. And oh, the writing! The writing is absolutely beautiful and really takes you into the glorious countryside of Italy and evokes all of the feelings of the characters as we untangle several mysteries page by page. I read this book with a smile on my face, relishing every second. A beautiful summer read I'll go back to again and again, after seeking out the author's other work!
