This book touches on real life situations. It follows the life of the protagonist Lara.

My initial thoughts of the book was that it seemed to be aimed at mature readers. I was not wrong - as read the book, it had a serious tone to it and focuses on important topics including family and love. As it's from the drama genre, it was realistic yet a relaxing read.

The writing style was quite sophisticated with no unecessary description which made it easier to read and follow along. The character was quite likeable and interesting - I thought that her personality developed well as the story progressed.

Overall I would say that this book is not for me. Perhaps it would be better suited for older readers.
