As much as I enjoyed the story, it took me a while to finish it. It didn't keep me entertained as much as others. I like the twists and turns though, the sister becoming the mother, the ex hunting them down and trying everything he can to jeopardise the family unit. Lara suffers with bipolar disorder and had a very traumatic relationship. She eventually falls pregnant and after a lot of emotional baggage, decides to leave and have her babies without letting her violent ex know. 5 years later and due to her bipolar, her sister has taken on the role of mother and Lara decides it's time for her to spread her wings a little and goes to Italy for a break. Here she falls in love and learns a lot about herself, mainly that she can cope with out the support of her family. Unfortunately back in Oz, where her sister and children are, her ex makes the discovery of her children and threatens all of their lives.
It was an ok read, different story to ones I had read before. The title has a very loose connection to the overall story. It did however make me want to go visit Tuscany!
