I liked this extract, not because it was particularly well written or beacuae of any beautiful or lofty content, but because it was very much like stepping back into the Dublin increase up in (but with the addition of WhatsApp).
The characters and their very specific turn of phrase feel like people I've met or known.
The structure is interesting, and the use of the message like interactions is an effective device. Would read the rest, not because I'm overly invested in the story, but because it feel alike reading about home.
