I love how immediately you're immersed in the lives of the different households and get a sense of the various (female) characters. There are hints of events in the past (possibly traumatic) that are intriguing but also current domestic issues both large and small. I really liked the excerpts from the Pine Road ladies Whatsapp group - great fun. I enjoyed the author's previous book, Grace After Henry, and this sounds like a similarly engaging read.
