After enjoying reading Grace after Henry, I was eager to read the new novel by Eithne Shortall.
This is mainly set in one road in Dublin, following the lives of the women, especially via their group Whats app messages. There were lots of interesting elements to the story, however this didn't capture my imagination in the same way as Grace after Henry did.
The female characters were a very mixed group, lots of different ages and careers but all thrown together by living in the same road.
The secrets are slowly discovered during the story, which could then change the dynamic of the what’s app group and the lives of the residents of the road.
It does make you question how well you know your own neighbours.
