Loved this! It took me back a decade, like watching a series of Desperate Housewives. A street full of characters, endless scandals, funny tit-bits and a balance between serious issues and lighthearted mockery.

Although Martha, Edie and Robin were our three central characters, ever single member of the street had their own individual personality and drama. I could actually picture this street of women stressing over what they each think of the other.

There were many twists here, most of which had me guessing but proved me wrong, leaving the reader pleasantly delighted with the tangled, intertwined mess which are the residents of Pine Road.

It took me a while to finish, but not from a lack of interest; when I had opportunity to read I devoured in in huge chunks, and have already recommended it as a read to others. I’ll definitely look into other books from this author.
