I really enjoyed this book, even more than I had expected to! The residents of Pine Road were all very relatable and their stories were so interesting. I did find that there were a lot of characters to try and remember at first, but once you get into the story a bit more, it becomes a lot easier to remember who is who. I would also find it hard to categorise what genre this book comes under, as it has plenty of laugh out loud funny moments, but also some more serious and dramatic parts. But I would say that it is actually the main strength of the book - it really does have a bit of everything, it's impossible to get bored of, and I absolutely flew through it, reading it in just a couple of days.
