This was an easy to read book about the lives of a group of neighbours in Dublin suburb. The blurb indicated that there were plenty of secrets, and the story flowed along nicely with some red herrings thrown in for good measure. The main characters Martha, Robin and Edie were all likeable and all get their own narrative space within the book. I liked the Pine Road Poker text interludes between some of the chapters - basically an insight into a whatsapp group - it really gave you an insight into some of the personalities of some of the more minor characters. I saw where the book was heading long before it got there, but it was still an enjoyable read. The cover of the book is quite quirky, and definitely drew my eye to it when I saw it in the library.
